Wade in the Water

Wade in the Water takes on the personal as well historical of the larger history of the black, African-American, and Negro people. For this project I will make a video about the long and relevant past dealing with the baptism, religion and the drowning of young children of dark skin during the period of antebellum south.  

alluding to the deeply religious background within the african american community, particularly southern baptist and the religious ceremony of baptism and wiping clean of sin and being reborn.
